Call of Duty 4 is much deeper in it’s online multiplayer than in the rather short lived single player. The multiplayer feature offers a possible 605 ranks to climb through which is estimated to take around 1 week of entire gameplay to complete.
Ranking works in a rewards system, by which attaining a kill adds to the player’s XP. As more XP is acquired, rank is gained. Rank promotions offer weapon unlockables, new challenges and game modes. The highest rank to be achieved is at Level 55, Commander. After this, it’s possible for the player to start from rank 1 again, and play through Prestige mode. Below are the badges awarded for each Prestige, from 1 - 10.
